My Favorite Place on Earth
On any given day, we all would “rather be golfing.” But the one place to be golfing that stands out above any other location for me is Pebble Beach. My hands-down favorite golf course, the course that rules them all, is the Pebble Beach Golf Links located in Pebble Beach, California.
This iconic and pristine course has been the host of numerous major championships and is considered one of the best golf courses in the world. From the moment you arrive at Pebble Beach, you are immediately struck by the breathtaking beauty of the natural surroundings and abundant wildlife. The course is situated on a rugged coastline, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and rolling hills, that provides a stunning backdrop to every hole.
The course design itself is both challenging and strategic, with each hole offering a unique test of golf. The opening hole, a short par 4, sets the tone for what is yet to come, with narrow fairways, deep rough, and small greens. The 7th hole is particularly memorable, a par 3 with dramatic views of the ocean and the iconic Lone Cypress tree.
Pebble Beach is also known for its unforgettable par 5s, with the 6th hole being one of the most famous in all of golf. The hole is a true test of golf, with a narrow fairway, multiple bunkers on the left to an approach shot to a small green that is surrounded by the ocean. The 18th hole is also memorable, with a dramatic approach shot to a green also surrounded by water.
In addition to the golf course, the facilities at Pebble Beach are top-notch, with a spacious clubhouse, pro shop, and fine dining restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they go out of their way to make sure that your experience is unforgettable. Traveling there can also be an adventure. It’s a two hour drive from San Francisco airport and close to beautiful Monterey, both fun destinations to visit while you are there.
Overall, I consider Pebble Beach Golf Links to be an ultimate destination, not just a top golf destination. The combination of breathtaking scenery, challenging golf, and top-notch facilities make it a must-visit for any golf fan. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a weekend golfer, Pebble Beach is sure to provide you with an unforgettable golf experience.

So I saw Adam Sandler once at Pebble, and that now makes it my top destination. Story value from my trip is high. But seriously, Pebble is my top for overall combo of views and quality of the course.
I tried a ParSkin for my TaylorMade Stealth and I love it. Thank you. Pretty simple install and now my club looks totally different. Starting to see more of these things pop-up now on clubs.
